A history of trust …

1979

Lise and Michel Lafrance founded Les Puits Deux-Montagnes. The couple was already experienced in the area of drilling artesian wells when they purchased their first driller a 1978 Schramm TH-64 from Ingersoll-Rand.

1980

Eight months later, Lise and Michel Lafrance purchased a new driller, a 1978 Ingersoll-Rand Cyclone T-60.

1985

In July 1985, the company consolidated its activities by setting up a sales counter and establishing a pump installation service. The company installed over 75 pieces of pumping equipment in under six months!
The same year, the construction of a new building on montée Robillard in St-Benoît (Mirabel) allowed us to merge the activities of
Puits Deux-Montagnes (driller mechanical maintenance, preparation of pumping equipment, parts depot, etc.).

1987

The building was expanded and we purchased a new Puits Deux-Montagnes service truck to meet the increasing demand for installations and water pump repairs.

1989

Puits Deux-Montagnes purchased its first new driller, an Ingersoll-Rand T3-W.

1992

Our business succession issues were solved with the arrival of Sébatien Lafrance, the owners’ son. The same year, the building was expanded for the fourth time to some 5,000 square feet of surface area.

1997

Creation of Pompes et Filtration Mirabel: the Lafrance family now provided a complete range of water management services. This new division allowed them to develop the water treatment business, as well as commercial and industrial water pump installations and repairs.

2001

Construction of a new building on the Arthur-Sauvé highway, with over 14,000 square feet of surface area. Development of a huge showroom to exhibit all the equipment needed for water management.
Purchase of a new 2001 Ingersoll-Rand T3-W 2001 and a second pump and water treatment service truck. The Lafrance family also acquired Pur-O Traitement, a company that specializes in water treatment and Kinetico products.

2003

Acquisition of a second 2000 Ingersoll-Rand T3-W driller and a third service truck. The truck was converted into a mobile shop for water treatment system installations and repairs.

2004

The companies were making steady progress. Puits Deux-Montagnes and Pompes et Filtration Mirabel added over 3,200 square feet to their building and installed a new testing tank to check pumps. They also added a second assembly shop.
